Christmas morning the tree with all the presents! :) This Christmas we spent it at home just our little family! It was sooooo nice! I absolutely loved it! We had food pre made and sat around enjoying each other and all our new gifts and fun! No one came over. we didn't go anywhere it was perfect! :) Lee had to work the next day but we savored every second of him being home for Christmas :)
Zeke opening his stocking! All the boys including lee got matching beanies! I got them off of pickyourplum.com for 1.99!!! can't beat that! And all three little boys got blue ones as well.
Drake little excited stink face! haha He LOVES balls!
all the boys got a giant balloon in their stocking and Drake pretty much claimed them all!
Drake LOVED the bows on the presents he'd immediately pull the bow off and play with it and taste it lol Then he'd finally try ripping his presents open :)
The boys in their superhero outfits from their cousins!
Drake and his favorite toy! I got it for $15 second hand it still looks new I just cleaned it up he loves pushing all the buttons and it has legs so it can stand up like a table or you can easily take the legs off for younger babies to play with on the floor! It was a great buy! They usually sell for 30-50 bucks and I was not going to pay that when I knew they were everywhere on sites like craigslist! So glad I got a great deal!
My Christmas present! I got a new STOVE!!! my other stove was white it worked just fine but it just didn't match the Kitchen so when our 2yr old Dishwasher crapped out on us (Grrrrr) Lee found a great deal for a stove as well and got me a matching stove! Now my whole kitchen is matching stainless steel! I absolutely LOVE the double oven on this stove! My mom has a stove like this and they're so great! Especially for Thanksgiving! You can put the turkey in the bottom and cook everything else in the top oven!

The new dishwasher!

Our stockings! This year I made all of our stockings! It was quite the project but I'm proud of myself for finishing them in time for Christmas! Our Cowboy boot stockings!!!

Lee's and My stockings!

Landon Zeke and Drake's stockings!

A clost up of my stocking. I hand embroidered it and added rhinestones! I LOVE it! These pictures are off of my phone. I guess I didn't take pictures with my actual camera....

The Saturday after Christmas we went to my parent's house in Spokane and my sister cuts hair at Great Clips so she hooked me up and brought her scissors and stuff home and cut my hair for me!!! I LOVE it! I had sooo many split ends she had to cut off like 4inches! so I decided that while it was short I was going to try an A-line cut! I've always liked it and have wanted to try it and when my sister heard that she went nuts and got excited so I did it! I was wanting to grow my hair out but since it was short from needing the split ends cut off I decided to just do it now rather than later!

Absolutely love my short hair! Lee loves it too! It's so easy to fix! In these pictures my hair is straightened but this cut shows off my curls a whole lot more! And my hair looks cute if i leave it curly in the back too! Great hair cut it's so fast and easy to fix!
This was at my paren'ts house. My sister and her Bearded Dragon Penelope!
He looks so spikey but when you touch them they're kinda soft it's so weird! She is nice but totally creepy when she moves! She can move FAST!!!

 SOPHIE!!!! My favorite little neice!!!

Snuggling up with Uncle Lee! She absolutely loved Lee! She would just go up to him and sit on his lap and maker her self comfortable! so cute!
Sophie and her dress up shoes! Her little dress up shoes lit up and she just walked around all over wearing them! she liked the noise they made on the tile floor too!
Tubby time! Landon with his bubble beard!
 3 kids in the tub!
Sophie and her CURLS!!! so so cute!!! Her hair is actually pretty long but it's so curly that it looks short! Her hair when totally wet goes down to her shoulders!
 Cutest curls ever!!!
 Little sweet cheeks Sophie! :)
Cuddling with Popa after the bath!
G.G. and Drake getting his bedtime bottle!
 Bedtime stories with G.G.
We had sooo much fun in Spokane! We got to stay a whole week from the 28th-4th we got spoiled with presents from G.G and Popa and we all went and saw Frozen in the theatre! the kids LOOOOVED it! They were content the whole time! Lee and I got to go on a few dates and we went and saw Hobbit 2 and Catching Fire! :)

We got home Saturday night the 4th so we could be at Church Sunday and have a day home together before Lee was back at work. Lee and I are both in Young men/Young Women's so we needed/wanted to be at Church sunday anyways. Sunday night I got a phone call from my mom and my Grandpa Ferrell had passed away :( He was 90 years old about to be 91 in March. He was in the hospital 2 weeks before with shortness of breath and found out that a he had a bad valve in his heart and surgery wasn't recommended. He was given 6months tops. so it wasn't totally unexpected but it was still sad. Especially since we were going to go and visit him while we were in Spokane and then ran out of time and never got over there :(  Here is his obituary.

This was all of us last year at my Grandpa's 90th birthday!

So the rest of the week I spent un packing and doing laundry to repack and head back to Spokane. His funeral was Saturday the 11th so we drove most of the way Thursday night after Lee got off work. we stopped at a rest area and slept in the back of  our suburban then got my parent's house around 10am on Friday. So we had all day Friday and then Saturday all day was the funeral and graveside. The funeral was at 11 at a Catholic Church. It was an ok service I just thought it was pretty impersonal and we should have been celebrating my grandpa's life a little more and talking more about him. Finally the pastor asked if anyone wanted to share anything or say anything and my Dad got up. I was so glad to see him go up there and he shared stories and said some really nice things about his Dad. He brought the spirit to the whole funeral and all the love that we have for our Grandpa who will be missed. nobody else got up but I am so glad my Dad did. I am also so grateful to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and to have the fulness of the gospel in my life and to know that there is life after death and that our families can be together forever! It's such a comfort at times like these when our loved ones pass away.

After the service there was a reception in the basement of the catholic church where there was lunch and some really nice ladies who were helping make sure the food was all out and the drinks were filled and we all had what we needed. There were pictures of my Grandpa out on a table from when he was a boy and a through out his life. 2:00 was the graveside service we all drove to the cemetary and there were more scriptures read my uncle was given a folded up American flag in honor of my Grandpa's service in WWII and the Korean War. Then they lowered him into the ground and anyone who wanted to could pour a little shovel full of dirt into his grave. My parent's had dinner for everyone at their house at 4:00 we got a bunch of papa murphey's pizza's and enjoyed the time together with everyone all being together. Then Sunday morning it was time for us to head home to Ashton. We got home Sunday night around 6:30pm. Glad to be done driving for sometime! haha When the kids saw me packing Thursday to go back to Spokane Landon asked, "Are we going back to GG and Popa's house?!" They were excited and have already been asking if we are going back this week! hahaha

2013 Thanksgiving!

For Thanksgiving we went to Layton Utah where Lee's brother lives. On Saturday we all went to Temple square to see the Christmas lights! It was so much fun! We went into the visitors center and went up and saw the huge Christ statue. The kids loved it and knew that it was Jesus.
This is cute little Carson! Smiling for the camera!

There were lights everywhere and they were on every little branch of the trees too! This is just a small look into some of the lights around temple square!

At the front of the temple they have a big water feature thing and they had these floating lights all over and a cool nativity on the water as well!
You can see the nativity all lit up in this picture. Ignore landon's face in this picture haha I didn't feel like editing the picture lol Lee had cut his hair so he had a mowhawk and had grown out his facial hair lol After Thanksgiving when we were back home he cut his hair normal and shaved lol he just wanted to do something different for the weekend up in utah while he was away from work haha
 The nativity
Overall it was a great weekend lots of good food and good shopping deals and temple square! :)
