yellowstone/baby blessing

It's official Landon is now a blessed baby! haha Thanks to everyone that was able to make it! It made it even more special! :)

Thursday we got back from Washington and on Friday my parents and sister came down...Long time no see! haha they came to Rexburg for Landon's baby blessing and a quick vacation in west yellowstone. So Saturday we spent the day in west :) We went up about noon and walked around and went into all the fun little stores they have! Lee joined us around 3 after he got off work at 2. once he got there we rented a car big enough to hold all of us and went into the park in search of wildlife! haha We found some Elk and it was awesome there were two BIG bull's (along with a handful of other elk) one had a 6x6 rack and the other one that was even more gynormous had an 8x9 rack on him!!! as we were watching them they started getting closer and closer coming out of the trees more. We were less then 100yds away! but what was really cool was when the elk started bugeling! it was cool to hear it in real life!

We also walked through some geyser fields and saw all those cool pools and stuff and of course we went to Ol' Faithful :) where more then just the geyser exploded! Landon...who hadn't pooped since thursday...decided this was an oppertune moment. No one has ever seen so much poop come out of such a small baby! It was EVERYWHERE and had pooled underneath his leg in the carseat and was all over his leg and he had stuck his hand in it and when he kicked his feet his feet would get in it and spread it even more! i was so shocked! me and my mom and dad were just laughing cuz we couldn't believe it! you didn't even know where to start! Lee and steph had gone to the vistors center while we were waiting for Ol' Faithful. when they got back i told lee it was his turn to change the diaper and when i showed him why he almost puked haha he couldn't even sit anywhere near landon in his carseat! haha we were all giving him a hard time for it! and as if i wasn't embarassed enough while i was standing in the back swinging landon in his carseat to keep him quiet people were coming up to me asking me how old he was! i felt like crawling in a hole! i didn't have a blanket or anything to cover him up with so everyone i'm sure was just disgusted once they noticed his accident and just thought i was a bad mom for not getting him cleaned up right away! it was horrible lol finally after we saw ol' faithful we went back to the car (where the diaper bag was...the one time i leave it behind) and cleaned him up it took a lot of wipes and i was glad i had germx in my diaper bag! me and my mom had a great time cleaning all that up! i'm glad to report that after taking the carseat apart to wash everything it didn't stain! Thank you oxy clean! haha

What a week!

We arrived in Spokane on Thursday around 10am. We left around 4am after Landon woke up and ate and fell back asleep! He was a good little traveler he slept till missoula then ate some more and went back to sleep! We stopped by at my Aunt Karel's house in Coeur D' Alene to visit and nap before going on to Spokane!

Saturday was the big day! It was Darcy's wedding the reason why we got to come up to Spokane and stay a week! and of course it had to rain! I'm sure she'll love all the umbrella's in her pictures! haha It still was all beautiful and we all had fun!

Sunday we went and visited my Grandpa Ferrell :) he liked Landon even after Landon filled his diaper on him haha thank goodness it didn't come out of the diaper!

Sunday my mom's friend brought over some fresh cucumbers and Zucchini from her garden and this Zucchini was just as big as Landon! haha

Landon was obviously thrilled to be at the lake for the first time ever haha

Tuesday night we went and visited my dad at work and then went down to the lake and went swimming! It had been hot all day long and we were ready to jump in!

Wednesday night Lee and I left the baby with my mom and steph to babysit while we went to Coeur D' Alene to go swimming and boating with Tawny and her friend Emily. Emily's dad was nice enough to take us all out on the boat and take us wakeboarding and tubing! It was sooo much fun i haven't been tubing in forever! Emily's dad let her little nephew drive the boat and we didn't know it at the time but he drove the boat more then half the time we were out there! haha he did a good job cuz we had fun! Lee went wakeboarding and did really good! He hasn't been wakeboarding since he was like 12 or 13! I didn't wanna embarass myself so I didn't try it haha maybe next time lol

Best Picture EVER!

First of all I want everyone to know that we will be blessing Landon August 23rd here in Rexburg, ID everyone is welcome to come! sacrament meeting is first and starts at 11am!(rexburg 2nd ward... 170 W 1st S)

I absolutely LOVE this picture! haha Ok so this idea hit me when I saw that big blue bow! I had actually boughten it earlier to go on Lee's birthday present back in May. I bought him a big outdoor grill and stuck that bow right on the top, it was perfect! So I decided to have some fun with my baby boy! haha the first attempt didn't work out so good he woke up and started kicking his feet and pushing his little butt in the air causing the bow to fall off and his manhood to be exposed! haha so i fed him a little more and got him to fall asleep again and stay in the perfect position without waking up and succesfully got this photo! I did have to put a little prep time into before hand though...to get rid of all the diaper lines on his little bum i put him loosely in a diaper one size too big and fed him so he'd fall asleep while waiting for the diaper lines to go away...luckily i succeded without any pee or poop accidents on my couch or me! haha!

Fun weekend with family!

This weekend was full of fun and family! Thursday night Lee's brother Craig and his wife Alyssa and 5 1/2 month old daughter Maddie came up to visit us and the baby for the weekend. We hadn't seen them since Robert's Wedding (Lee's other brother) back in May. And boy has maddie changed! She's HUGE now! She weighs a whopping 18lbs! she's not overfed or anything like that either!Her mom just has all cream, definately no skim milk! haha

THEN...dark brown hair chubby cheeks...NOW blonde hair and chubby everything! Check out those legs!!! haha

Friday we all just hung out all day taking lots of pictures with our babies! haha it was entertaing. We were trying to get a good "cousins" picture and the first time we tried it Landon was crying a little and Maddie just pushed him away haha it was so funny. So we tried again a little later and got some cute pictures.

Saturday Lee and Craig's cousin Karma got married so the boys went to her sealing and me and Alyssa watched the babies. Karma's Sister in law dropped off her baby (Dyson-3 1/2 mos old) with us as well so she could go to the sealing (she watched maddie for alyssa when robert was getting married). So we had a baby party it was pretty funny cuz at one point all three babies were crying and we were just cracking up and being thankful we didn't have 3 babies all at once all the time! haha

Sunday morning Craig and Alyssa went back to Utah and that night my mom and dad and steph came! My parents were dropping off my sister and her friend at EFY here in Rexburg so my dad and steph got to see Landon for the first time! :) I was glad they got to come up!

haha we got proof that steph isn't entirely disgusted with babies! Thats a genuine smile on her face!

I was sad to see them leave monday :( but we'll be in spokane soon enough so it's all good.
