Memorial Day and other things

Landon, Maddie, Drake, Jacob, Zeke and Carson

For memorial day weekend we went down to Utah to visit Lee's brother and family and just get away! It was a nice long weekend! We left Thursday after Lee got off work and came home Monday Afternoon :) We were so busy having so much fun these are the only two pictures I got! All the kids lined up in camp chairs and of course no ones really looking lol

And Landon dressed up as Thor!

My sister in law and I had lots of fun shopping and crafting over the weekend our favorite store to go to when we get together is Wood Creations. They have lots of unfinished wood crafts that you can buy and finish yourself and we always go and get a project or two. This time we had some awesome coupons but you could only use one a day so we had to go twice but it was worth it!

This is my cute lemondae door hanger I bought and finished! I love it!
 And my cute glittery flamingo!
I also made a 4th of july set to hang on my little ladder that I set outside I'll take pictures of that when 4th of July comes around. and I also bought 6 triangle pennants that i'm going to hang and string up with baby girl's name on it. Which by the way WE FINALLY DECIDED ON A NAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! on our way to utah we agreed that baby girls name will be Maylee Belle McIntier! I love it so much! I'm just thrilled we have a name!!! Maylee was the only name Lee and I had on a list of names that we didn't cross off. We both kinda liked it but were still looking around  but now we love it :)

As of Monday I'm 24 weeks prego! I had a dr's appt wednesday and all is looking good! got to hear Maylee's heartbeat :)

My mom sent us a package last week it had shorts for the boys in it and these cute little outfits for Maylee Belle!
 Cute little lady bug pjs
night gowns
 turtle pjs
and the cutest little pink pants ever! They have little bows on the ankles!

My girly nursing cover also came in the mail around the same time as my mom's package!
I got it from https://www.uddercovers.com/cart they are always having sales so I got it for free and just paid shipping.

Another favorite place of ours to go when we are in Utah is Kid to Kid! It's a second hand kid store they have everything from kids clothes and shoes to toys to cribs and bouncers and highchairs. My sister in law and I always have to go. This time I was looking for stuff for the boys but they didn't have really anything so of course I had to look at the girl stuff and I wasn't disappointed! And the day we went in everything was 20% off as well!
Got this cute little Carter's outfit Newborn size 5.99 with 20% it was about 4.79!

Newborn 3pc Carter's outfit 4.50 plus 20% off made it 3.60!
The long sleeve onesie it came with says I love Auntie.

I love the soft jean looking pants that came with this outfit. It's also a Carter's Newborn size that was 4.99 with 20% off made it 3.99

Go this cute little pink and black and gray Carter's Dress 3M size for 5.99 (4.79) and since it will be winter when she can fit into it I got the cute little sparkley black sweater to go with it which was 3.50 and with 20% off was only 2.80!

This two pack of carters newborn gowns was 3.50 with 20% was only 2.80!

These cute two pack of Carter's newborn pjs were 2.99 or 2.39 after the discount.

Carter's Newborn pj 2.99...2.39 after discount. I got a blue outfit just for Lee so he wouldn't feel so overwhelmed with pink hahaha

This cute Carter's 3M outfit was 3.99 or 3.19 after discount overall I spent like 31.00 and got 5 pj's 4 outfits and one dress and sweater! Such a good deal considering everything is still like new and you can't even tell if they've been worn! Also a carters outfit usually sells for 10-15 bucks just for one outfit so I made out like a bandit! And what's even better is that these outfits aren't in the stores so I have no guilt buying them before my baby shower :)

Progress in Maylee's room. I FINALLY have the shelves painted all white!!! Yay!!! I started taking the tape off from insde the shelves. I still have to finish the bottom support but all the tedious nook and crannies of the actual shelves themselves are DONE! I also have all the trim painted white and we started putting that up! But we are going to be getting new carpet for this room and have to wait for that before we will be putting the floor trim in. Can't wait!!! It's coming together so nicely!!

I got this cute little faux glass knobs for the drawers in Maylee's room just to add a little extra girlyness to it :) they were just white wooden knobs before so these are lots more fun!

I bought this mirror from hobbylobby.com for 11.99!!! It was originally 25.99 but it was on sale and I had to have it! I'm going to put it on the wall with her crib along with a bunch of colorful cute frames :)

So overall we had a fun weekend in Utah. We shopped and crafted and the husbands went on hikes and made took video's with Lee's GoPro that he got for his birthday. The kids played and played and played and even got to swim on Monday before we went home. We came home Monday and Tuesday Drake woke up with a little fever off 100.2 and just wasn't feeling good. It's finally gone today...I think....I think he's just teething cuz he hasn't had any other symptoms of being sick. Then Wednesday Drake and I had dr appts. and after my Dr.appt like late afternoon I started coughing and by Wednesday night I was coughing like crazy and not feeling good. Then Thursday woke up and felt worse and the cough was worse and I could feel it in my chest and my throat killed ugh it was not good (I think I caught my nephew's croupe while we were in UT) So yesterday I spent all day on the couch sleeping and coughing up gross stuff and blowing my nose ugh it was not fun at all luckily as the day went on the cough got better and cough drops helped but I still just ached and my head throbbed. And now this morning I feel better already still coughing here and there but not feeling as bad as I did yesterday! No fun at all! It's not fair that mom's get sick. but atleast it already seems to be going away!

Catch up

I've been so busy with house projects I haven't updated in a while! Well Mother's Day was great! The best one so far! Lee is finally catching on to the Mother's Day thing. For Mother's Day he made all the meals and even changed diapers! He made me a "throne" in the living room and I got to sit on it and ask for whatever I wanted hahaha I made sure not to abuse the power so he'll want to do it again :) haha It was a great day and my gift was a Singer Serger!!!! I'm soooo dang excited! It showed up the Tuesday after Mother's Day and I can't wait to use it! It will be so nice to use while I'm making baby girl's crib bedding!!! But first I need to get my house projects finished and the house put back together!

Zeke's favorite thing to do when he goes outside is pick me flowers :) I love it!!! He's so sweet and he always picks me a big bunch :)

This is one of the house projects we checked off this last weekend! Our bathroom!!! I've been dying to paint it and do a little makeover for sometime now so when Lee finally got a Saturday off we went all out and got all the paint and stuff we'd need for various projects. I love the way it turned out! I was going for a beach them and I think I nailed it! I still have some cute little decorating accents I want to make and put in here but over all this bathroom is done! we put up new shelving above the toilet instead of the obnoxious over the toilet stand thing we had. I bought a new shower curtain and we put more shelving behind the door we painted the two tone color and put the white trim up in between them.
I got too excited about painting that I forgot to take a before picture. But before it was just white and we had a black and white shower curtain. amazing what new paint can do :)

There is one more top shelf I just didn't take an updated picture yet. Lee brought home the brackets yesterday and we put it up. there's nothing on the top shelf yet.

Here was another home project! Under the bed drawers in the boys' room! The boys' room has no room for dressers and with all three of them in their now I need a storage solution so I had Lee whip up these drawers for me! :) They're 2ftx3ft each and just under 12in deep each kid has his own drawer for all his clothes! YAY!!! FINALLY!!!! These took a while to finish because of the multiple coats of stain and then polyurethane we had to put on them but they're finally done. They have little sliders on the bottom to make pulling them in and out easy. They match the bed really well but the flash and makes them look weird colored in the pictures but really they look so good and work so well.

close up!

So since the under the bed drawers are done I can finally get started on another project and get Landon's old dresser out of the closet! The closet has been in a desperate need to have a makeover and make it more efficient. The toy bins on the ground just aren't cutting it anymore and the dresser in there has been driving me crazy taking up so much space soooo here is the beginning of the closet makeover! We moved the top shelf up but 6 or 8 inches the left side of the closet will have a hanging space and under that where those brackets are will be shelving so I can put the buckets of toys up on a shelf instead of stacking them and having them tip or dump over! yay! Then the right side will have two hanging spots and one or two shelves I'll take a picture when it's finished for sure! So overall there will be three seperate hanging areas for the three boys and shelves lots more efficient! Can't wait!
Here's a close up of the top shelf moved up. There's still plenty of space for me to use it sufficiently

Here's the 23 Week belly! Took this picture today :)
Drake was whining and wanted up haha Still haven't agreed on a name. still searching for the right one. Lee is no help at all haha

In other news...

My cousin got engaged last week!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!  So happy for her and can't wait for the wedding in August! We get to go up to Spokane for it! Unfortunately I will be 36+ weeks prego when we head up so I'll be peeing every 10miles but I couldnt' be more excited for her! The wedding is August 23rd! Come on Summer!!! Her and I and a friend of her's went dress shopping last week after she got engaged and it was so much fun. my kids were actually really well behaved for the 2hrs we were in there and she found her dress!!! Even better! This summer is already looking to be full of fun things like baby showers and a wedding!

projects and shopping

I've been wanting to put this quote up in the boys' room for a while now and I finally got to it and cut it out and put it up! It looks so good I love it! :) I'm going to have to take pictures of their entire room one of these days just to show it off but not until it's finished. I have some under the bed drawers Lee needs to make for me first so I can get it organized the way I want it.
I have their names in rope on the walls and I finally got around to doing Drake's name and ran out of rope at the last part of his name haha darn it! I was also able to fix the way Zeke's name looked. I had the Z and E connected before and I didn't like the way it looked at all so I finally got it separated and straightened out and it looks so much better! :) Now I just need to get that little bit of rope to finish Drake's name lol
May 3rd was our Anniversary! Lee's brother and his wife watched our kids for us while we went out to eat and went shopping in Idaho Falls. I got some new clothes and Lee got the newest hobbit movie that came out haha It was so nice to just go out shopping without kiddo's and spend time together! We also went and saw Divergent :)
Landon and Drake and I just taking pics :) I think Zeke was sleeping

My very first all pink girl order showed up yesterday!!! I made this purchase on OldNavy.com a couple days after we found out we were having a girl!!!
The cutest little 0-3M outfit! I just loooove the little heart pants!!!
0-6 Month socks with bows :)
Pink and white striped sleeper 0-3M
Pink with white polka dot sleeper 0-3M
Pink and pink striped sleeper 0-3M! I just love everything I ordered! so cute and girly! Lee is not thrilled about the pink. He says he'd like it better if it was blue and I glared and him and told him our baby girl is not going to be dressed in BLUE!!! After 3 boys it's PINK PINK and PINK!!! He'll just have to get used to it cuz she's only going to be wearing girly colors!

Kmart was having a closing store sale so we decided to go in and see what kind of sales they had going. Well it was nothing great at all. the kid clothes were only 20% off and you can go to Walmart for better prices than that (which is why kmart is going out of business). But I found this cute little sleeper and we little hair bows and couldn't resist. It was our first purchase together actually going to a store and picking it out. and we also had $7.00 in reward points saved up so it was nice we got to use them before they closed. The boys got some ninja turtle jammies and Drake instead of Jammies got a ball haha he's obsessed with balls so he was very happy :)

Well I have lots of projects planned for baby girl!

*Her room needs painted we're going to paint it a light gray and accent with all the happy girl colors that I love especially pinks.
(it's blue yellow and whitish cuz we used left over paint that we had just to finish the walls after we built it. yeah not ok for baby girl lol)

I haven't decided for sure but I might be doing one wall all glittered just like this one!!! I looove it but we'll have to see what Lee thinks about it haha. You can buy powdered crystal things to add to your paint to get this effect.

*There's shelves in her room that need finished. I need to wood fill them and paint them white.

*I ordered her crib bedding fabric! Yes I'm going to make it all!!

It is going to look like the picture below:

I ordered all the same fabric including the pink tulle to make this set myself. I found this on Etsy and LOVE it!
The Crib bumper is going to look like this but instead of  ruffley edges it will just have a light pink piping going around the top edge.
The inside of the bumper will be this pink circle fabric!

I can't wait to get started on it! The fabric should be here next week around the 15th! I'm hoping to get her room all painted and done by then so I can just sew away and get everything slowly but surely put together!
I'm also going to be making coordinating curtains to put up in her room but I haven't decided which fabric I want to make those out of yet or if I'll just get some pink sheer curtains or something...I need to see it all put together first.

Lee absolutely refuses to let me put a little chandelier in her room so I'm going to make this cute sparkley mobile instead :) The ruffle at the top will be pink of course. Lee actually likes this mobile so that's a plus haha

This is just one of my ideas for her window treatment I love the ruffles and the tulle. we'll just have to see how it all comes together! I can't wait to get started. I'll definitely be taking before and after pictures!

I have lots of other projects in mind for her as well but I'll just post those as I get them done! So excited for all this girlyness!!!! Now if we could just agree on a name......

If you haven't heard....

We're having a girl!!!!!
OH. MY. GOSH!!!!!
hahaha can you believe it?! We can't! We're still getting used to it but sooooo excited!!! I've already made my first all girl all pink purchase! Can't wait for it to show up!!!

We have NO IDEA what we're going to name her hahaha We can't agree on anything and names that we had when we were first married have gotten old or used and just aren't working anymore. SO any name suggestions are gladly appreciated! haha The only rule is it has to be GIRLY! No in between wondering if thats a boy or girl name. We're going ALL girl!

Here's the ultrasound pictures! The ultrasound tech right away found in between her legs and I knew what I was looking at and my first thoughts were " oh no! there's nothing there"  hahaha but I am sooo excited for a girl and a change from the same old boy things! I cannot WAIT! :)

The awesome 3D pictures we got! She's cute already!

I have a cousin who found out she's having a girl too so I made these cute layette's for her before I found out we were having a girl too so now I get to make myself some too! They were actually super easy and a quick sew for me :) Love how they turned out. :)

Here's the belly at 21 weeks! Took this yesterday (5-5-14)
She's kicking around a lot more lately and I can feel her from the outside as well now! Lee still has yet to feel her but I'm determined for him to feel her ASAP! :)

So Monday 4-28-14 we found out we were having baby girl and we planned a gender reveal party for Friday May 2nd! We did it with Lee's family and it turned out to be so much fun! We had his 2 brothers and their wives and a bunch of his cousins and their families come. I should've been more on top of the picture taking but I was having to much fun in the moment and visiting haha
I set up a little photo booth area and the boys loved it haha we ended up not really using it but it was still fun for them.

The silly string all decorated so you can't tell if it's blue or pink!
We roasted hot dogs and had veggies and pink and blue juice and later on pink and blue cupcakes filled with a strawberry cream cheese filling. Then we passed out the silly string and had everyone gather around and I was able to video it!

after the big silly string reveal!

The final tally on the chalk board! We also had everyone coming wearing their vote so everyone showed up wearing pink or blue! Lee and I wore our original vote colors from before we found out. He didn't have a pink shirt so red was the next closest haha
Us and the silly string :) we had to get some pics

Everyone really enjoyed the party and it was so much fun to reveal it in such a fun way. We just enjoyed the excuse to have a party and see everyone since it always seems like we're so busy and don't get to get together as often. :)
