Easter!

I just can't get enough of these cute boys!

There Easter outfits turned out great! Lee had an orange striped tie that he wore too match the boys too.
I wish i had bought or made something to match :)

GG & Popa's Easter presents for the boys! a blanket and animal plush that roll up together and you can use them seperately and use the animal as a pillow! the boys looove them!
Landon's is  puppy

 Zeke's is a duck

And Drakes is a little lamb :)

Easter Sunday after church at noon we came home and Lee's brother and sister in law (Robert and Kandice) came over and Lee and Robert hid eggs for the boys. Drake LOVED the eggs and when he accidentally broke one open and found jelly beans he loved them even more! haha

Landon showing off his basket full of eggs

Zeke with his basket and Drake's

We had a yummy honey glazed ham dinner complete with delicious lion house rolls, mashed potatoes, deviled eggs, salad, jello, and orange jello salad! So much food so little room! Drake loved the mashed potatoes best. This is my favorite smile of his.

Well I'm 19 weeks today!!! YAY!!!
ONLY 7 MORE DAYS UNTIL OUR BIG ULTRASOUND!!!
I can hardly wait and at the same time can't believe it's come up so quick and i'm now almost halfway done!!! Where is the time going?!

Here's  what is going on with baby at 19 weeks:
Your baby's sensory development is exploding! Her brain is designating specialized areas for smell, taste, hearing, vision, and touch. Some research suggests that he may be able to hear your voice now, so don't be shy about reading aloud, talking to him or her, or singing a happy tune if the mood strikes you.
Your baby weighs about 8 1/2 ounces and measures 6 inches, head to bottom — about the size of an heirloom tomato. His arms and legs are in the right proportions to each other and the rest of his body now. His kidneys continue to make urine and the hair on hisr scalp is sprouting. A waxy protective coating called the vernix caseosa is forming on his skin to prevent it from pickling in the amniotic fluid.

Something exciting to look forward too....We decided to throw a gender reveal party! I designed these little invites myself. It started out as just something to do for fun but once I made the invite and they turned out so cute Lee and I decided we had to have a little party. So we're officially having a gender reveal! I'm so excited! This is our invite:

I love how they turned out. I'm decorating with bright pink and bright blue I got streamers, plates, utensils, table cloths, and napkins all in these colors at the dollar store! I also got some balloons from target. We're asking everyone to wear blue or pink depending on their guess! We find out Monday the 28th if baby is boy or girl and we're throwing the party the Friday after with about 8 other couples ( Lee's cousins and family) We wanted to keep it small so we're just doing a little family party. I'm going to have pink and blue drinks and we're going to have a fire in the back yard for hot dog and s'more roasting. For the big reveal i'm either doing cupcakes with pink or blue filling or silly string in pink or blue....still haven't quite decided yet. Maybe I'll just end up doing both haha Can't wait to post pictures and get the rest of the party planned! Hopefully this week just flies by and Monday morning comes around quick for our ultrasound!!!

we've been having fun

Last Friday my cousin Tawny graduated from the nursing program at BYUI her older sister from Maine got to come all the way down for her graduation so I babysat her two cute boys while she went to watch the graduation! Lincoln (3) and Grant (8months? ithink...haha)
The boys had lots of fun and played really well together and watched movies.
Landon wante to hold the baby :) haha

Since it's FINALLY acting like spring I've been doing a bunch of spring cleaning and organizing!!! I never have a spot for the boys' shoes so I finally bought an over the door shoe rack at target and I love it! Now i know exactly where the church shoes are every sunday morning no more running around trying to find that one missing shoe!!! Drake likes to take them off the bottom row but he's learning to leave it alone.
The boys' closet has been driving me crazy there's just not enough space in our house. So I finally organized there clothes in there and have all the right sizes and I bought some small clear and blue totes from walmart for 88cents! One holds their bowties the other holds their ties and the top one had sunglasses and belts in it but I ended up combining it with their bow ties and just have two totes in the closet so I could use the other one in the craft room.

Organzied my craft room shelves!!! believe me this is a definite improvement! Now I can see everything and it's much neater I'm kinda bummed I forgot to take a before picture darn it.

 Trampoline before....
Trampoline AFTER!!!
last saturday we were at the dollar store and they had pool noodles! in red green and blue I had seen this idea one time on pinterest for covering the trampoline springs and since they had lots of pool noodles for $1 Lee and I decided to do it! We bought 20 but I only needed 14 so the rest will be used as the boys' light sabers since they love fighting with them and they're actually light saber colors! Of course when we did landon's starwars party last year the only color they had was orange...oh well.  I'm sure we might actually use some in the water this summer too haha
Our trampoline is so cute now :) I cut the noodles into 6.5in sections and got 7 sections from each noodle. then I just cut a slit in the back and slipped them over the spring. They fit perfectly and my kids leave them on the trampoline I just used one of our really sharp serated kitchen knives to cut the pool noodles with and it worked like a charm.

18 weeks prego! monday the 14th was my 18 week mark!As of today only 10 more days until we find out if we're having a boy or girl! I decided I'm going to have a little gender reveal party the friday after we find out. It's going to be a guns or glitter themed party. I'm excited. Can't hardly wait 10 more days and we get to know!  Yesterday I felt the baby kicking a ton! I love that I'm starting to feel him/her more often now! Can't believe how fast time is flying by.

Today I decided it was time to be crafty and get the boys' easter ties made! I bought them these super cute blue aqua polo shirts from Old Navy when they were on sale for $7! And I finally got our of the house and to Joann Fabric's to pick out some bright orange fabric to make their ties out of! I found the fabric so fast and even better it was 50% off and I got an entire yard for $3! awesome! I maybe used 1/3 of the fabric.

The ties were so quick and easy to make! I found the pattern at littlebitfunky.com it is by far the best toddler tie pattern I've been able to find. So easy and it's easy enough to shorten or lengthen the pattern to your needs!

I used half inch elastic for the neck part and it's best to measure out how much of it you need by measuring it with the shirt your going to use. Otherwise if you just go off their neck size it will gather and scrunch the shirt weird when you go to put it on them. Then to attach the ends I used snaps. So much easier and less hassle then velcro. I bought my little snap tool and snaps at Wal-Mart in the craft section . I buy replacement snaps from Etsy though because you can get them in bulk a whole lot cheaper.
Trying on their new shirts and ties!!! They're going to be so darn cute for Easter Sunday! If only I had a matching outfit too lol They'll be wearing khaki pants with their shirts and I'm sure I'll be taking lots  better pictures on Easter to post for everyone! HAPPY EASTER!

What I've been up too....

random picture of the boys eating sandwiches during lunchtime one day. At first it was Zeke and Drake sitting on the Steph being cute eating together but as soon as I went to take a picture Drake got up and ran towards me to see the picture so I didn't get one of the two of them but here's Landon and Zeke :)

Mostly just doing the mom thing and cleaning and organizing!!! The nesting has struck! And I have spring cleaning fever! I went through everything in each bedroom and room of our house and got rid of a TON of stuff! I had at least 4 boxes of stuff and 4 bags full of things! I heartlessly went through everything and if we hadn't used it within at least the last 6 months it was being donated! Feels soooo good to have it out of the house!!!

Wednesday yesterday 4/9/14 I got my haircut! Feels so good! :) Love it!

Last Tuesday for mutual we made these cute Temple pictures. I'm in charge of personal progress activities and this is what we did for a Virtue Value experience :) We had lots of girls show up but 3 of them couldn't make it so this morning I made them each one. :) the boys painted them for me and then I mod podged the picture on and added the little flowers :)
These are the boys' temple pictures. They each picked a color. Zeke's is orange and Landon's is blue.
Here's all three! The black one is the example I made for Tuesday night and I made it plain so one of the boys could have it. So I guess Drake get's that one haha not that he cares but now they can all have one to put in their room. These were really easy to make too by the way and minimal in cost which is even better. I just used a 1x6x8 board and cut them 7.25in long. I just found a picture of the temple that I liked on google images and changed it to black and white and added the wording "I'm going there someday...." with pixlr.com then I printed them on regular computer paper 5x7 size two to a page and mod podged them onto the wood. The easiest way to do it was to put a thin layer of mod podge on the wood and press the picture onto it. Then you turn it upside down and stand on it or squish it in between heavy books so there's no bubbles. Then I let the girls decorate them with flower and ribbons and buttons and I wish i had a picture of all their's cuz they turned out really cute :) I also put a small screw in the back so it acts like a little kickstand and will stand up on it's own. The girls really enjoyed the activity! :)
This is my most favorite quote about the temple and it's importance. I made one of these for each of the girls as well. So that's what I've been up today! I should get my butt cleaning but that's no fun hahaha. But it's gotta get done I suppose. :) Such a nice day all the kids want to do is play outside now that it's finally starting to act like spring and the sun is shining and the snow is practically gone except for on the shaded side of our house.
