Room Makeover!

Lee's little sister Xianna (pronounced like Zianna) had her 12th birthday last saturday the 6th! back in January we decided that she needed a room makeover so she had her own special place! So for the last 2 months Lee and I have been doing just that! His parents provided the money and we provided the labor! Oh boy what a project it was! you can see for yourself why it was such a big pain! not too mention the room itself wasn't square to begin with! But it was fun getting to do whatever I wanted to with the room! on her birthday we had a party and had the grand revealing of her room we had locked her out and she wasn't allowed downstairs until it was finished! It was fun to see her reaction! I've never seen her smile soooo big! she didn't know what to say but you could tell she loved it! It was all worth it seeing her smile like that!

her new closet lee built for her I mudded all the screw holes while brandon taped and mudded the seams! then me and lee finished mudding the entire room a few days later. I hate mudding.

gotta love the argyle wall! all my doing thank you very much! it was my masterpiece! I painted it by hand so i didn't have to mess around with tape! I think it turned out pretty darn good!


Her very own ballet studio in her room! complete with a big mirror and bar! we got a great deal on the laminate wood flooring at lumber liquidators it was only 59cents a sqft!!! and the new carpet was free!

what else could you do with a post in your room but decorate it with toulle and lights!!!

I made her mosquito net above her bed out of curtains and an embroidery hoop! I just attached ribbon to the hoop and hung it from a hook in the ceiling! works like a charm and is cheap and way cute!

Landon loves getting into things! His favorite trick is getting into the washcloths and towel drawer taking them all out and then crawling away haha it's so cute and even though I have to pick them all up I don't care I just let him do it haha

Scouts! If you didn't know we got a new calling to be Bear Scout Leaders! We're lovin' it! we have two boys it's great! We just had our Blue and Gold Banquet and it was a birthday theme cuz scouts is 100years old! so we had a cake decorating contest! Our Is the third picture its a race car track complete with a loop de loop and hot wheels! haha

Ashton Dog Sled races! Every year ashton has their annual Dog Sledding race! like the movies you see with dog teams of huskies they totally do it in ashton its way cool! and we love going to see it!

This guy competed in the Skijoring even where you hook a dog or two to yourself and let them pull you on ski's! sounds like fun!


This little white fluff ball of a dog was so cute! I want one! he was pulling kids on the mushers sleds the kids that got to do it LOVED it they thought it was cool to be a dog musher! haha

Me and Lee at the Sweethearts Ball! We got to dress up all formal and go to the Ball! We went with robert and kandice and Kandice and I did eachother's hair and she let me borrow one of her old bridesmaid dresses! It was a way fun evening! What a great valentines eve date!
