Parent's Magazine Contest!

Have you ever seen a such a happy little boy?

I LOVE this picture of Landon! I was so lucky to catch it with my camera! I just randomly decided to enter Landon into the Parent's Magazine Cover 2010 Contest (why not? right?) but I needed a really great picture to enter with! It had to be taken no longer then a month ago and taken by me not a professional. So I dressed him up and set out determined to get a good picture and to my surprise I got one! It didn't even take 5 minutes to get this photo! Which is nearly impossible when you're working with babies who have a mind of their own! This photo is my new favorite! Haha ok so one day landon was just lying on the floor like this playing with Lee's shoe and he just kept saying Dada dada dada as he was playing with it hahaha it was sooo cute!


Landon loves chewing on the Wii Remote he really likes the soft covers they have on them! I'm sure it feels good on his little gums and teeth!

sadly it was time. his hair was so uneven and the sides poofed out and drove me crazy haha even lee noticed his had funny hair and volunteered to cut it! I agreed cuz i didn't want it to be my fault if it ended up funny looking haha

Room Makeover!

Lee's little sister Xianna (pronounced like Zianna) had her 12th birthday last saturday the 6th! back in January we decided that she needed a room makeover so she had her own special place! So for the last 2 months Lee and I have been doing just that! His parents provided the money and we provided the labor! Oh boy what a project it was! you can see for yourself why it was such a big pain! not too mention the room itself wasn't square to begin with! But it was fun getting to do whatever I wanted to with the room! on her birthday we had a party and had the grand revealing of her room we had locked her out and she wasn't allowed downstairs until it was finished! It was fun to see her reaction! I've never seen her smile soooo big! she didn't know what to say but you could tell she loved it! It was all worth it seeing her smile like that!

her new closet lee built for her I mudded all the screw holes while brandon taped and mudded the seams! then me and lee finished mudding the entire room a few days later. I hate mudding.

Her new closet and the dresser repainted and looking brand new!



gotta love the argyle wall! all my doing thank you very much! it was my masterpiece! I painted it by hand so i didn't have to mess around with tape! I think it turned out pretty darn good!


Her very own ballet studio in her room! complete with a big mirror and bar! we got a great deal on the laminate wood flooring at lumber liquidators it was only 59cents a sqft!!! and the new carpet was free!

what else could you do with a post in your room but decorate it with toulle and lights!!!

I made her mosquito net above her bed out of curtains and an embroidery hoop! I just attached ribbon to the hoop and hung it from a hook in the ceiling! works like a charm and is cheap and way cute!
