Happy Harvest!!!

Happy Spud Harvest that is! My nights are pretty boring around the house with Lee working Spud Harvest. He gets off work at 5:30pm (on a good day when they don't have the last minute stragglers rolling in) and then he goes up to the spud cellars on the Hess Farm and works all night long. He gets home late like 11pm. Sucks for me cuz it's way too quiet without him and I just sit in the house with all the lights on and the doors locked watching movies hahaha but He likes it though and he's gonna love the extra cash that it'll bring in too. He's supposed to be driving truck but is sorta doing a little bit of everything else, he just started thursday and spud harvest last's two weeks! The kids get out of school for harvest break and lots of the older kids use that time to get jobs sorting spuds or whatever they farmers need them to do. That's really all that's goin' on around here a whole lot of movie watchin' and going to bed alone for me and lots and lots of work work work and more work for Lee!

My latest projects!

Here's what I've been up to lately! trying out new craft projects and working on some old ones! :)

Here's one of the onsie shoe sets I finished for etsy! I made the iron on for this onsie to match thinking it'd be easier to sell the shoes if they had something to match with it! :)

These little T-strap shoes are a pain in the butt to sew but are sooo cute! I still have to finish the other shoe and put the velcro on the strap.

These little ribbon shoes were a new pattern I just had to try out! The ribbons tie around baby's ankle I want to make some halloween ones with some orange fabric that has white polka dots and then black ribbon! I've seen a pair like that and they're adorable!!!

This little pair of silly snail shoes has been on etsy forever and hasn't sold yet so i made this matching snail onsie and and headband binky set! The flower on the head band is actually yellow pink and orange but the pink looks kinda red in this picture! I have a million fake flowers from our wedding so I put them to good use! haha I sewed the flowers onto the crocheted headband, the next headband i make i'll get the little clips and stuff so you can re use the headband and change the flowers.
I've also had these little camo shoes posted for a while too. Someone tried to buy them once but i never got a payment so obviously I didn't sell them haha I made this little moose iron which i'm so proud of! I think he's sooo cute! I'm betting it'll sell pretty quick after I post it on etsy!

Here's another project i finally finished! a covered wipes case! :) it's my very first one so i won't be selling it cuz there are some mistakes on here but i think it turned out pretty dang cute for my first one! My next one is one for Landon haha I just have too much fun with all the girl stuff lol His is going to be black and has guitars on it it'll be cute i'll post it when i've got it done :) Back view

Last but not least my little pumpkin tutu that I made!!! It's made for a size 0-3month baby although it'd probably fit a 6 month old cuz i made it a little big. I've been wanting to try this out for a while and I finally ordered some tulle and did it!!! It's an easy no sew project! Anyone can do it! Well I guess you have to sew the elastic but that takes two seconds the rest is easy! The first one i made was black and orange and purple and the only pictures of it that I have are of Landon wearing it lol Lee wouldn't be too happy if i posted those on the blog lol I'll get pictures of it soon on a baby girl and be sure to repost it for sure!!!

Baby Bump and a Hair Cut!

Here's the Bump! I'm 13 weeks tomorrow! Crazy how fast I'm showing this time around! My pants are all tight but maternity pants are still too big. I've been feeling great! hardly any morning sickness at all this pregnancy and it's great! I had a Dr's appointment last saturday and we got to hear the little peanuts heartbeat! always cute to hear that! They said it sounded just perfect! :)



Here's my haircut! I love it! Lee did such a good job! haha that's right my husband cut my hair! He should be pro he acts like he is when he's cutting my hair lol He told me my hair was getting scraggly looking so he gave me a hair cut Sunday he put layers in it and thinned it for me too! It's great! gotta love great free hair cuts! :)

Landon Randoms!

Out at the "snake house" helping Lee's cousin gut and rebuild! It's called the snake house cuz years ago the basement used to be full of snakes literally the ground was covered!!! sooo gross but they found the hole and sealed it up and the snakes haven't been back since

Mmmmm eating spaghetti for the first time! I wasn't brave enough to put the sauce on it for him so i just put some Parmesan cheese on it for him instead! Less mess for me to clean up haha

Because 2 is better than 1!

That's right! Baby number 2 is on it's way!!! I'm 10 weeks pregnant as of today and things are going great! I haven't really been nauseous at all! Early on it was kinda bad but I wasn't puking just felt icky, but after like 8weeks it disappeared and I've been feeling great ever since! *crosses fingers* Hopefully I won't jinx it haha! I'm due March 24th and we're so excited for our little family to be growing! :) Of course Lee is already hoping for another boy haha by the way the little X's on the top and bottom of the baby were just the marks when they were measuring it. They were going to get another picture without those but this cute little peanut didn't want it's picture taken and was hiding haha
