May 25th- June 1st!

We have had a crazy week/weekend before memorial day! Lee's sister Xianna graduated high school Thursday May 26th! So we had Craig and Alyssa and their 5 kids in our house camping out in the living from the 25th-30th cuz we had no where else for them to sleep haha luckily the weather was nice all week cuz my tiny house was stuffed full having 13 people in it! so the kids (9 kids under the age of 7) spent their days outside playing!

After graduation she had already taken her cap and gown off but we (us SIL's) made her two candy necklaces and a candy bouquet and she got flowers and balloons from us too! We wanted to make sure she felt special on her big day cuz she worked hard to graduate!

Here's the kids out having fun in the garden. Alyssa and I had left to run to the grocery store or something real quick and came home to this lol thanks dad's haha we made them hose off and clean the kids up. luckily the 4 youngest kids were not in this mess too lol

We went to Family Dollar one day and found this shirt so I had to put it on and pose with it cuz it was too perfect hahaha excuse my non makeup-ed face lol

We had tons of fun while they were here and I barely got any pics cuz we were just busy having fun and feeding kids and cleaning up after feeding kids and everyone haha

This was Maylee taking a nap one day I thought it was so cute. I had to wake her up to go to Xianna's graduation family lunch. She was sleeping so sweetly I hated waking her up.

This is how the twins eat cereal lol or how their mom feeds them cereal they had baths right after this haha Sadie's on the Left and Lacie on the right. Maylee had a blast getting to play with 2 babies. towards the end of the week Maylee's favorite phrase was "No baby!!!" and "No Wacie"  lol she's gonna have to get over being the youngest in our house pretty soon! but I think she'll adjust just fine to a new baby. A new baby can't take your things from you yet lol

Maylee one day was quietly playing in the boys bedroom and I went in to check on her and she had made this little lego structure! I'm seriously impressed with her lego skills she frequently goes and plays with the lego's and actually builds things and isn't even 2 yet!!!

This was me June 1st!!! 38 weeks prego!!! Sooooo happy it's actually finally JUNE!!! Can you believe it! I'm going to have a baby this month!! I should of had an appt that day but there was nothing available when I went to set it up after my last appt so I don't go in until Monday the 6th. everythings being going good though. I've been having lots of braxton hicks but nothing serious and still feeling good just excited for baby to join us and in the meantime doing lots of nesting and getting things deep cleaned and ready for baby!

In fact today (June 2nd) I got my bedroom all deep cleaned and ready for baby!!! I dusted and washed the walls from ceiling to floor and wiped down every other surface as well with a water and vinegar and essential oil mixture I made! and holy cow my walls were dirtier then I thought and they actually LOOK so much cleaner now it's awesome and it feels soooo good! I also cleaned the windows and window tracks so they are now mildew free! Zeke was my big helper today and helped me with all these things! I also deodorized my carpet with another baking soda and essential oil blend that I made and let the kids sprinkle it all over then let it sit then vacuumed it up! My room looks feels and smells soooo fresh and clean I love it!!! after washing the walls I was having all kinds of contractions haha I definitely over did it a little but I got to lay down after I set up the bassinet and they went away eventually and I got a nice rest.

Here's the bassinet all set up and ready!!! Can't wait for our little bundle of joy!!!
I keep thinking June 7th is going to be the day, I don't know why but that date just keeps popping back up in my mind as THE day! lol I guess we'll see! I'm crossing my fingers and toes and hoping it is! I'd love to be early rather than late!!!

May 18th 2016

Here's all my favorites from my maternity photo shoot I did with my sister in law just for fun! I made my dress. I bought the pink part of it but it was only knee length so I added the lace to it and was trying to get a mermaid flair look from it. I'm totally happy with how it turned out! I ordered the floral crown on etsy and it turned out perfect!!! So happy with these pictures.
I was exactly 36 weeks in these pics!

House Makeover!!!

This has been a loooooooooooong time coming haha I've had the dark wood trim primed for what seems like forever as in before Christmas....I decided a while ago that I was going to repaint the whole house trim and everything because I wanted to be happy with the way the house looked instead of wanting a new house cuz there is NOTHING on the market here so I decided since we're gonna be living here forever (not really it just seems like we will be) I was going to be happy living here and the first step was to paint! I officially finished painting on May 5th!!! Here are my amazing before and afters! I'm so proud of my hard work (and Tawny's cuz she helped me a TON) oh and my husband's hard work too he had a lot of pain in the butt cutting and caulking to do with all the white beadboard that we put up I'm so glad he's so handy!

BEFORE: This is our back door area    The Middle pic is a DURING showing the  difference in the paint colors. The old color is the darker and the light is the new color!  The last picture is AFTER! when it's all new and done!
In the Entry way looking into my kitchen at the pantry doors
Looking down the hallway standing in my kitchen
back is to the hallway looking at this kitchen wall we redid
 Kitchen!
 Living room!
Living room! SUCH a HUGE difference It makes me sooooo much happier having it so much lighter and brighter and just exactly what I've wanted!
Super old before pic from when we first moved in and re did the garage. check out the entry way the stairs weren't even gone yet LOL anyway it was the only pic i could find to compare lol
Back door area! I'm pretty sure I'll be repainting the inside of the back door I am not liking the gray AT ALL it's just too dark and industrial and just not making me happy lol
My beautiful living room my back is to my back door.

Ignore my gross couches. I will never buy a microfiber couches again!!! ugh! On a happier note though I will be deep cleaning them soon or calling someone to come and steam clean them for me before baby comes!!! along with  my living room carpet!

my super cute entry way closet doors! They used to be stupid broken regular bifold doors but I turned them into french doors and added all the cute hardware. The handles look crooked in the pic but they're not in real life promise lol
 Entry way

Lee built these sliding barn doors for me and I looooooooove them! they turned out exactly how I wanted and it's so nice to have this storage space covered with doors now! I had before pics of this somewhere but we recently lost all the pictures on our external hard drive :'( and I couldn't find any pics anywhere else. oh well.

Front door! This door color will also be changing! It gave us soooo much trouble spray painting this stupid door! the paint was not putting out the same color consistantly and then it ended up not being the same color as the front outside color which it was supposed to be and omg I could go on with all the issues we had it was just not our day! atleast it's not dirty unpainted white color lol

My happy kitchen!!!! I just love all the colors in my house now!

another back door shot....just not loving that gray. I think I want a light aqua type color or maybe even a happy light yellow color! still can't decide! haha

I put sooooo many hours into painting this house it is ridiculous and the dark stained trim took like 5 coats of paint no joke. 2 layers of primer and 3 coats of the bright white paint!!! ugh! and Lee spent a lot of time after work when he was dead tired doing more on the house for me cuz I was deteremined to get it done before June which we finished it barely into the month of May! awesome! He did also help me with painting a little and he HATES painting but I was so prego I needed his help to keep me motivated haha Tawny also took her two days off to come up and help me paint! The first day was atleast a good 8hours and we did the entire living room and got it ALL done in one day! that included finishing trim paint and two coats of wall paint and omg she was heaven sent! we were so dead at the end of that day my feet and back and pelvis hurt but it was worth it! Then the next day she came over and we finished the entryway which only took about half the time since it's so small. Then I finished the rest of the house in the couple of weeks after that and I've been enjoying it ever since and just can't get enough of it! I can't wait to start shopping for decor and finish my lamps now that I have the house all done and pretty!!! I'm done with any huge room painting projects for a while though haha I definitely got my fill doing most all of the house! hahaha Oh and the paint color I used was called Toasty Gray by BEHR i just had my local hardware store copy the color for me so whenever I ran out I could easily go get more instead of having to rely on getting to home depot for more which is an hour away! Also I retouched up my turquoise in the kitchen and I had my local hardware store color match my ceiling color because I had a lot of old paint color still showing on the ceiling so I touched that up and it looks amazing now of course! so there it is folks! my HUGE want it done before baby comes project is finished!!! now to check off the rest! haha
