Wonders of photo shop!

 remember this picture? Perfect except baby was moving?! Well my sister in laws sister Kelsey was able to photo shop it for me and FIX IT!!!!

 Tada!!! It's perfect now!!!! She did such a good job! You can't even tell! yay for her magic photo shop skills!!!! I'm so excited about this picture now! I can't wait to print it off big and put it on my wall!!! Thank you Kelsey for fixing my picture! :)

Here's a collage of the 3 pictures I'll be printing off for my wall. I won't be printing it in this collage format but you get the idea. Can't wait!

P.S. I hope to do a real up date with lots of pictures soon! I have a baby shower that I'm helping with this Saturday so I'm busy making 100 cake pops for that AND I'm in charge of the hairbow making station as well so I'm busy busy this week getting everything together and organized all cute! Wish me luck! I'll definitely take pictures for you too see! In the meantime you can oooo and awww over my cute boys and my now perfect picture!

My Boys

Here's a collection of pictures of the boys that I've taken randomly throughout the last couple weeks or so. 

Zeke and Daddy napping together. Zeke really slept for quite a while balanced on the edge of the couch with his feet tucked up under him! haha  Drake being  cute in his swing. And landon in his swing he had stretched out his legs and was as stiff as a board. lol Lee built the kids a hammock swing of their own for inside during the long winter months he used an extra fleece blanket we had some rope and attached it to the beam in our living room ceiling. We can take it down and put it up whenever we want and the kids love it. 

The boys taking turns with Drake. Zeke actually asked to hold Drake in this picture he doesn't ask too often so it was cute that he actually wanted to hold him. He's usually just to busy to stop and sit down very long.

Landon and his faces! Lol he likes getting his picture taken as long as you tell him he gets to see it afterwards and he's always saying "Take a picture of me doing this!"  The first top left picture of him is the face I get half of the time when I tell him to smile! LOL 

I was trying to get a good picture of his eyes so you could really see the cool colors he has in them but it didn't really work so I'll try again another time.

Landon and his Lego creations! :)  This was really the first time he actually sat down and made a bunch of things from his lego's and then played with what he had made. It kept him entertained for a good several hours. My favorite is the yellow "horse" he made with the one eye in the front haha too cute.

Landon is 3 and 3/4  He is in a preschool group with 7 other girls that meets on Wednesday mornings he loves it! And doesn't seem to mind that they're all girls. He's now officially fully potty trained! yay!!! He's been potty trained during the day for quite some time now but I'd been putting off the night time training cuz I was really dreading all the laundry and sheet changing. Changing sheets on bunk beds is a pain but I sucked it up and last Tuesday we took away his diapers at night. He cried and wanted his diaper ( he liked peeing in them he told us) but we stayed strong and he wet the bed that night... I really hadn't with held liquids from him that night and really it was the first night so I was like ok we'll try again. The next night no diaper again and he woke up DRY!!! I was sooo happy! And he's been dry ever since!!!! no  joke! easiest potty training at night ever! haha We were really just holding him back by still putting diapers on him at night! I don't even have to with hold his liquids that much either. I'm sooo glad I've gotten over that hump now I only have two kids in diapers! haha

Zeke turned 2 March 19th and boy does he act like it! I swear they know when they turn two and decide to be terrible! He's a big tease and it's cute but sometimes it gets him in trouble. He's started hitting and it's driving me nuts cuz timeout in his room doesn't work for him. He doesn't care that you shut him in his room. He's been swatted a time or two for hitting Landon but he still isn't stopping. I'm at a loss of what to do with him so that he'll stop hitting Landon. He doesn't just hit with his hands either he'll get a toy and whack Landon right in the head with it and hard! Any suggestions to get him to stop hitting are gladly welcomed!!!  I think he likes having to say sorry and give landon a hug too so I just don't know what to do with this little stinker.

He had his 2 year old appointment yesterday and he weighs 23.5lbs (4%) and is 33.3inches tall (18%)
His favorite things are Toy Story (esepcially Woody) he also likes The Lorax  Breakfast foods like pancakes,oatmeal,cream of wheat.. Like any boy he loves Playing outside in the dirt and especially the mud and water . He loves books and can sit and read them for quite awhile when he feels like it. He likes to give kisses to Mommy and the baby and can be really sweet. He also has the longest eyelashes ever I'll have to try and get a picture of them. I wish I had his lashes! 

Drake in this picture was 4 weeks old! He held his head up for so long! he's just so advanced for how young he is it's crazy and he just keeps surprising us!

He turned 2 months old!
He had his doctor appt yesterday as well and is 11lbs 14oz! (52%) woohoo! he's such a good little eater!
 He is 23.5inches (72%) he's tal! and growing fast! He's wearing 3-6month clothes now! he can still wear some of his 3 month clothes since I don't have that many warm 3-6 stuff but the jammies in 3months are getting tight! haha

 The week before Easter he decided he didn't need to poop 5times a day and went from 5 times a day to nothing then 2-3days later he'd poop. He wasn't constipated at all it was still runny  baby poop and he's only ever been breastfed so I was at a loss for why it was happening and asked about it at his appt and they said it's perfectly normal for a breastfed baby (his age) to go without pooping for 5-7 days because breastmilk is all nutrients and there's not a lot of waste. Good to know!  I knew that when they are newborns you don't want them to not poop for more than a day or two cuz you don't want them to forget how to use that pooping muscle ( I learned that from Landon) but I didn't know it was ok for them to go that long. My other kids never did this so i never had to ask. so all you moms out there now you know.

Drake is such a good baby too he sleeps all night for me! He'll go to bed aroundd 9pm-10 and doesn't wake up usually until 6-7! He sleeps a good 8hrs at night for so when he goes to bed earlier around 9 he might wake up sometime after 5am to eat but goes right back to sleep it's great! :)

He still doesn't really like bath time. Being naked freaks him out for some reason lol even changing his diaper lately has him doing the outreached arm freaked out crying thing that babies doe when they get scared! Poor kid I try and give him a blanket or something to grab on to and it seems to help he gets death grip on it and usually calms down but holy cow your just naked it's ok! haha

He laughed at me a couple of weeks ago too! it was just one laugh but it was a laugh! He's such a happy smiley boy I love it! He's just getting big too fast! I wish I could slow him down!  

Grandpa Ferrell Turned 90!

My Grandpa turned 90 in March! We made a last minute spur of the moment decision to go to the Birthday party! I was so glad we got to go! My  mom talked me into it Thursday night and the party was Saturday at 5:00pm so I begged Lee to go and while he was at work Friday I packed our bags so he had no choice but to say Yes! So we hopped in the car Friday after lee got off work and drove halfway to Spokane. Stopped and slept at a rest area in our suburban and arrived Saturday morning. I got to see a bunch of cousins and Aunt's and Uncles and other family that I haven't seen in a long time.

The picture on the right is of my brother Marc and his Daughter Sophie my sister Stephanie my dad, Drake, Zeke, Me, Landon and my Grandpa ( My dad's dad. Our latest 4 generation picture with my grandpa.) 

We got to stay in Spokane until Tuesday the 19th and since Zeke's 2nd Birthday was Tuesday and we'd be driving back home all day we celebrated his birthday Monday with my family. He was so excited to be sung too he didn't want to blow out his candle he just kept smiling and staring at it haha he finally did blow it out and decided that was fun too. He got some books and a big John Deere dump trunk and my mom got him the Woody toy. He LOVES woody and Toy Story so he was thrilled when he opened that up and saw Woody! She also bought him a Leapfrog Tag Jr with a Cars book that he loves and a Number counting Helicopter.

Here's Sophie!!! She's the cutest thing ever! I just love her to pieces and want to squeeze her all the time! I just love her cheeks and everything about her. And since she's my only niece on my side of the family I can say  she's my FAVORITE! She's 9months old and such a character :) 

Here all the cousins together! The pictures of Drake and Sophie crack me up. She put her mouth on Drakes hand and being a baby and just wiggling around he ended up hitting her in the mouth, obviously not hard but she did not like that and started crying haha It was bedtime for sure lol 

Newborn photo shoot!

Ok I don't know why the text is being retarded and going out to the sides of the photo's instead of underneath like it's showing when I type this all out....I've tried adjusting it and it's just not working so sorry about that just highlight over the words so you can read it easier! 

 Here is Drakes newborn photoshoot that I did with my sister inlaw Kandice. I don't have all the pictures she took with her camera but she did e-mail me some of them and the rest are from my camera we had sooo much taking them :) 

Here he is Drake Simeon McInier! He was born Feb 9th 2013 at 10:21am ( which is the time that the clock is set to) He was a good little model!

Zeke and the baby together he was just to quick and wouldn't hold still haha These are the best we got I wish Drakes arm wasn't moving in the bottom middle picture  cuz Zeke and Landon are perfectly posed! oh well what do you do it's still a great picture too bad i'm not a photo shop genius maybe that could fix it lol.




 


 

Here's our awesome family picture! Turned out sooo good! Tawny (my cousin) was so nice to take a study break and come over and do this for me! Below are some of the outtakes which is what was happening 99% of the time it's a miracle we captured this great picture! haha

  hahaha Boys will be boys they wouldn't stop wiggling and moving around making goofy faces or growling at eachother like Zeke and Lee in the big corner picture! haha if it wasn't the baby crying it was the other two sometimes three flopping around and making faces lol 

Drake was 5 days old in these pictures :) I took them for Valentine's Day! My sister made him his Kisses hat :) sooooo cute! I love it!

And in these photo's below he was 2 weeks old and this was a photoshoot using Leah's blanket in the background! Leah made me this blanket herself she is so talented! I absolutely love the blanket! I can't crochet worth beans so I appreciate her talent! These pictures are for your Leah!

Here's another blanket photoshoot! This blanket came from Alaina! Another talented crocheter who actually has her own Etsy shop which everyone needs to check out! It's called LovingHandsCrochet. She made a matching hat to go with this blanket but somehow I didn't get a picture of that I don't know why...But still very cute. 

Drake Simeon McIntier 2-9-13

The long awaited and much anticipated birth story of Drake Simeon McIntier!

I've been dying to share my story and we finally have a new computer so I can type it all out to share. So here I go. My due date was Feb 2nd and ever

 since I hit 36 weeks I was just sure I was going to go into labor at any

 time and was hoping for the end of January to keep up my trend of birthdays in our family being every other month Zeke in march Lee in May Landon in July Myself in September buuuut that didn't happen. I went in for my 40 week appointment (Friday) and got my membranes stripped I'd already had two instances of false labor the previous week and was getting sick of just not BEING in labor already so my midwife stripped my membranes and I went home hopeful having contractions just like every other day but nothing serious. My mom and sister decided to come up that weekend because we were all so sure I was going to go into labor over the weekend since my due date was Saturday (Feb 2nd) and really how late could I be?! HA! Well they arrived Saturday night and we waited all weekend I went on long walks (I'd been doing that for weeks now) and I bounced on my yoga ball and ate spicy food I did it all but the weekend and my due date came and went.

Monday we were all sitting around deciding what to do for the day and I had been talking to my sister in law and realized I hadn't really felt the baby move much at all that day and it was almost 11am so just to be safe I called up the midwives and they had me come in to get hooked up to the machines for a stress test and what not so we came and I drank a soda on the way to try and wake up the baby from being lazy. Of course as soon as I had all the belly monitoring stuff on and laid there he started kicking around and moving like crazy which was a huge relief! So when Rachel the midwife came in to talk she asked me if I wanted to get induced or just wait it out some more and I told her I'm done I don't want anymore scares I just want him here so she went to call the hospital to set up an induction but they were booked solid until Saturday! Yes Saturday! an entire week after my due date. My mom wasn't happy to hear that news since she only had a week off work and was already here. So we did our best to get that baby out and here to meet everyone but the week drug on and still no baby :( I walked and walked and walked until I literally couldn't walk anymore and he still did not want to come out. So Saturday morning day of my induction I called the hospital right away around 5:30am I couldn't wait any longer to call I wanted this baby out! haha And they got me in right away they said come in at 6:30am so we got ready and I was freaking out. I'd never been induced before and I was planning on doing this naturally and I dunno just something about knowing your going to be in labor soon really freaked me out don't ask me why but my stomach was in knots. Lee gave me a blessing before we left the house and I felt so much better and we left the house a little before 6am and drove to Rexburg. It was still dark out and so quiet. 

My last prego picture! 41weeks prego... that's right a WHOLE week late! He was just too comfy in there! 

We got to the hospital and got all checked in at the front desk and as we were signing stuff and getting checked in this little prego girl my height and size came in and announced to everyone in the middle of us talking with the only guy at the desk "I'm here to be induced!" we all just looked at her like yeah get in line lol  

So we got upstairs and I got changed and on the bed and they asked a million and one more questions (annoying) and entered them into the computer and I got hooked up for an IV and they finally started the pitocin probably around 7:30ish they cam in every 30mins to up the dosage they started it out at a 1 and then came in later upped it to 3 I was finally starting to have contractions at that point but I wasn't really feeling them I could just tell when my stomach was hard and contracting so they came in a little later and upped it again to a 5 half hour later still no real pain i was a little uncomfortable sitting when i'd have a contraction but nothing serious so my wonderful nurse Michelle (easy name to remember) went and talked to my midwife and they came back in and talked with me and we decided it was time to break my water. 

So my water was broke a little after 9am I was still 4cm like I had been since 2weeks ago but once my water was broke it only took a couple of contractions before I started feeling them. Everytime I had a contraction it just felt like I was peeing myself with all the water that was coming out! haha I was flooding the place I swear! They just came in and would throw more towels down and I just kept rocking around on the yoga ball. My midwife went to check on some other moms who had just had there babies the day before and told me when I was ready to get in the tub or if i needed her to just send the nurse and she'd come back sooner but she'd be in to check on me in an hour. Well she came back a lot sooner cuz it got intense fast. I was still determined to try naturally so I started out on the yoga ball and  and soon I didn't want to sit at all so I was standing and crying to Lee "I don't care I just want the epidural! I don't care that I wanted to do it with out! I'm just done and this sucks!" He's such a good husband to listen to me cry to him like a baby. He kept reminding me this is what you wanted you'll be dissappointed if you get the epidural now and he came over and just let me lean on him and held me up and let me sweat all over him through every contraction (I found out later that he was getting teary eyed and crying at this point cuz I was in so much pain and the contractions were almost constant with no break....so sweet.) So by this point the contractions really were constant and their was brief talk of getting in the tub but I was hurting so much and not getting really any break I didn't know how I would get myself in the tub cuz I didn't want to move at all during a contraction and there was hardly anytime between them so  I said screw it! I want the epidural I don't want to get in the tub ( it was going to take 20-30mins or so to fill up! so my midwife came back and would rub my back while Lee held me up and she told me are you sure I really think your in transition and your close and i just said i don't care i just want it and she said ok thats just fine and sent for the epidural (it was going to take 15mins...really? come on! I'm dying!!!) My midwife decided while we were waiting to check my cervix because she didn't think i was going to be able to hold still long enough for the epidural so they lowered the bed for me to lay down on and they lowered the pitocin some more (not that it made a difference) and told me to get on the bed and all I could say was I can't! I can't! but somehow I got on the bed during the constant contractions and as soon as I laid down my whole body contracted I was pushing! weirdest feeling ever! Well needless to say the epidural guy didn't make it in time. my midwife did manage to check my cervix and I just had a little bit of a lip left but was pretty much fully dialated and my body was pushing! So the next like ten minutes or however long it was I just closed my eyes and  screamed and pushed my way through those contractions! I laid on my side and was either holding on to lee or the side of the bed....I think I was mostly grabbing the bed and screaming and pushing. And pushing felt good sooo weird but it did and I loved being able to feel when to push and when I could stop and let the baby stretch me a little bit before pushing more. And then all of a sudden Drake was out! Such a huge relief and sense of accomplishment! I literally smiled and laughed after he was out. He had the cord wrapped up around his shoulder and around his body. My midwife untangled him and said "Don't give me that help me look" then cut the cord and handed him to the other nurse in the room to wipe him off and get him breathing....He didn't cry for what seemed liked FOREVER  but I was strangely calm and didn't panic I just knew he was ok and it was all alright. He was born at 10:21am! I had a baby in just a little over an hour! CRAZY! And I didn't tear at all!!!   He finally did cry and they didn't even have to give him oxygen they brought him back over to me and he opened his eyes and I couldn't believe how blue they were! I couldn't hold him very long because just the weight of him on my stomach killed from all the cramping and just ya know having a  baby! I was too tired to hold him up off my stomach so I had them wrap him up and give him to daddy :) Lee was crying and the first thing he said to me was "hun you just had a baby in 15mins! lol From the time I laid down to when he came was only 15mins sooo crazy and so wonderful! Then he kissed me on the forehead and told me how proud he was of me! Best moment ever. I did it! And strangely enough I would do it again. I just wish I could get an epidural for afterward for those cramps! Man! They really do get worse with every kid! I sat in the shower with the hot water on my stomach for so long I finally just got out cuz i felt bad for the nurse waiting to help me out haha she was nice enough to get me a heating pad and meds pronto! lol Oh and funny little fact after Drake came out he pooped ALL OVER ME! I of course didn't notice i was kinda busy but afterwards they told me he had pooped when he came out all over me and were trying to get it off of me the best they could It's just so sticky it doesn't wipe off very well. I was able to get in the shower pretty much right away after i had him though so that was good. They gave him a bath and weighed him before we switched rooms and he weighed 8lbs 8oz! 21inches long and 14in head and chest! Our biggest baby so far (Landon was 8lbs 7oz and Zeke was 7lbs 14oz.)

 My mom and sister brought Landon and Zeke up to meet their new brother it was probably around 11ish when we got into our new room and they came to see him.

 Landon just kept asking "We take baby home now?" he didn't want to leave him there for the night haha So cute. He would've stayed and held him all day.

First days home....First bath...he did not like it! 

 Brothers! 

 I absolutely love being the mommy of 3 sweet boys! It's the best ever I hope we get to add lots more boys to the mix and get my girl at the end :) We're just breeding  future missionaries here haha! 

Drake is such a good baby ever since he's arrived he's been a good sleeper and eater! He slept 4hrs at night for me the first week and now he sleeps 6-8hrs for me it's great! He grew an inch and a half at his two week appt and weighed 9lbs 1oz he went down to 7lb 14oz so he's a porker lol he never got jaundice and was wearing 3month clothes at 4weeks! He's been smiling (on purpose) since 4 weeks as well so crazy to see such a tiny baby looking up at you and smiling and it wasn't gas!  He laughed for the first time at me yesterday! He is such an alert happy baby he loves to be up right and looking around and is really good at holding up his head! He doesn't like his swing cuz he'd rather be held and walking around seeing things which makes it hard for me at dinner time but I don't mind I just wish he would slow down on getting big so fast! :)
