What I've been up too....

random picture of the boys eating sandwiches during lunchtime one day. At first it was Zeke and Drake sitting on the Steph being cute eating together but as soon as I went to take a picture Drake got up and ran towards me to see the picture so I didn't get one of the two of them but here's Landon and Zeke :)

Mostly just doing the mom thing and cleaning and organizing!!! The nesting has struck! And I have spring cleaning fever! I went through everything in each bedroom and room of our house and got rid of a TON of stuff! I had at least 4 boxes of stuff and 4 bags full of things! I heartlessly went through everything and if we hadn't used it within at least the last 6 months it was being donated! Feels soooo good to have it out of the house!!!

Wednesday yesterday 4/9/14 I got my haircut! Feels so good! :) Love it!

Last Tuesday for mutual we made these cute Temple pictures. I'm in charge of personal progress activities and this is what we did for a Virtue Value experience :) We had lots of girls show up but 3 of them couldn't make it so this morning I made them each one. :) the boys painted them for me and then I mod podged the picture on and added the little flowers :)
These are the boys' temple pictures. They each picked a color. Zeke's is orange and Landon's is blue.
Here's all three! The black one is the example I made for Tuesday night and I made it plain so one of the boys could have it. So I guess Drake get's that one haha not that he cares but now they can all have one to put in their room. These were really easy to make too by the way and minimal in cost which is even better. I just used a 1x6x8 board and cut them 7.25in long. I just found a picture of the temple that I liked on google images and changed it to black and white and added the wording "I'm going there someday...." with pixlr.com then I printed them on regular computer paper 5x7 size two to a page and mod podged them onto the wood. The easiest way to do it was to put a thin layer of mod podge on the wood and press the picture onto it. Then you turn it upside down and stand on it or squish it in between heavy books so there's no bubbles. Then I let the girls decorate them with flower and ribbons and buttons and I wish i had a picture of all their's cuz they turned out really cute :) I also put a small screw in the back so it acts like a little kickstand and will stand up on it's own. The girls really enjoyed the activity! :)
This is my most favorite quote about the temple and it's importance. I made one of these for each of the girls as well. So that's what I've been up today! I should get my butt cleaning but that's no fun hahaha. But it's gotta get done I suppose. :) Such a nice day all the kids want to do is play outside now that it's finally starting to act like spring and the sun is shining and the snow is practically gone except for on the shaded side of our house.

16 weeks!

Baby is the size of an avocado!
about 4.6 inches long and weighs about 3.5 ounces, and he's big enough that your doctor may be able to hear her heartbeat.

your baby at 16 weeks
  • She's listening to your voice, thanks to tiny bones forming in her ears.
  • She's growing hair, lashes and eyebrows.
  • And she's forming taste buds.

Me at 16 weeks exactly I've rounded out a bit more.

I had my 16 week appointment with my midwife today! We got to hear the little heartbeat! So cute. My appointment was at 10am and Zeke had an appointment (in the same buliding) at 10:10 so Lee took the kids with him to that and I was by myself at my appointment. Usually I'm in and out pretty quick but today the office was packed with pregnant women! One of which came in cuz she was worried about something and ended up stealing my appointment time so I was waiting forever! It was 10:30 before I got in and then I swear I waited another 20-25mins for my midwife to come in and see me! ugh. so my the time I was finally done at 11. Lee and the kids were in the waiting area waiting for me! Usually it's the other way around. I felt bad cuz Lee was worried something was wrong and my phone is psycho so for some reason he can't get my texts and when I tried to call him while I was waiting my phone decided to shut down and die. But everything looks great and my next appointment is in 4 weeks! THE BIG ULTRASOUND APPOINTMENT!!!!!!!!! CAN'T WAIT!!!!! It's at 9am on Monday the 28th! Hopefully this month flies by and I can keep myself occupied so I don't go nuts waiting and wondering until then!!!

Bump update

Our baby is the size of a navel orange! about 4.5" long!

You might not yet be feeling it, but your baby is kicking those little legs and flexing those elbows.

Here's the bump! Just a little thing right now I still think I can pass off as just looking like I am bloated or have a pooch...However after I eat a big meal like dinner then I REALLY round out and look prego haha
15 weeks and 1 day took this picture today
I have my 16 week appointment on Monday and then I get to schedule our anatomy scan when we find out what we're having! Boy or girl?! It should be scheduled for April 28th only 34 more days! And I always try to get the earliest appointment cuz I can hardly stand waiting around haha. I'll let ya know how that goes!

Feeling good no morning sickness just a little tired. Cravings: fruit, potato chips and ranch dip...mexican food. WATER! I'm so thirsty all the time!

Can't wait for next week's appointment. something to look forward too. This week is a busy week full of Young Women's, and two church dinners! Hopefully the week goes by fast and the next month even faster so we can find out boy or girl!

Zeke had a birthday!

Our little Zeke is 3 now! His birthday was Wednesday the 19th! and he LOVES toy story!!! He got to open a present in the morning before dad left for work and he got Toy Story 2!

After Lee got off work we went out to dinner to celebrate! We ate at Frostop  here in Ashton. LOOOOVE their burgers :)

Yummy Chocolate milk!!!

after dinner we got home I finished his cake! It's supposed to look like Andy's bed with all the toys on it! I was soooo tired this day. earlier I'd been busy helping decorate for the Relief Society Birthday dinner and just running around so when I made the frosting and there wasn't enough to cover the end I just said "Whatever" I don't care we're eating it anyways lol I made the frosting so it would have been a pain to make more and try to get the color exact so just pretend it's completely covered haha it was yummy lemon cake.

Opening presents!!! He was sooo excited about the big Woody!!! He loves it.

All in all Zeke's birthday was great and my parents came up that Friday! They go to Ashton Friday around 5ish and we went to El Rincon the mexican restaurant here and had dinner. Then Saturday morning we headed off to Jackson Hole, WY for the snowmobile hill climb! They had all the new sleds displayed and all kinds of booths and some food. We'd never been to Jackson so it was fun. Of course I had to forget my camera so this is all I have from on my phone but both my mom and dad took a bunch of pictures on their phones too so I'm going to try and get those pics.

This was the hill the snowmobiles had to climb it was super steep at the top and there were huge ruts that they would get stuck in. we were lucky enough to find spots on the bleachers that they had set up at the base of the hill and watch.

My mom and the boys :) it was a fun weekend and went by way too fast. My parent's came to sacrament meeting with us then headed home right after.

Here's some random pictures from my camera....

a couple of weeks ago Landon got a missionary badge from his primary teacher! He absolutely loved it! he didn't want to take it off and wanted to wear it with everything! haha so cute! eventually the tape on the back stopped sticking but I had to get a picture of him with it cuz he was so proud of it.

Kindergarten Screening

Landon had his Kindergarten Screening today and he did so good!

They took him to a classroom where they tested him and the other kids (there was only 6 kids there this morning)  for different skills in language motor and cognitive skills. They also tested their hearing and sight. The moms waited in the gym and filled out more paper work I made a few new friends. Then after about an hour they brought them into the gym one at a time and then went over the results with us individually.

I was so nervous I didn't know what to expect. I think the world today makes mom's feel like they're failing at everything and that our kids never know enough cuz we're not teaching them enough or doing it a certain way or whatever. We just need to remember to ignore those outside influences because Landon did great!

In all areas he scored in the green area except one area I think it was the language skills he was in the yellow but it was still above the average line. (The colors went Green Yellow Red and there was a number score as well in each area.) In that area he needs to work on identifying a picture when give 3 close sounding options. For example the picture is of a Bag and you ask him if it's a Back Bag or Bat. So he has to listen carefully and identify the correct word. But overall he did great and he is excited for school! We also get to work on counting backwards ( who knew!? We were still working on counting forward!) and adding up to 6. Little everyday things like Landon if you have 2 crackers and I give you 2 more how many do you have? I'm just excited he did so well and there's no concerns :) We have plenty of time to continue working on things until fall :) Oh and he passed his hearing screening but he failed the sight! haha They said it wasn't a lot to worry about because it is just a screener but I'll probably be getting his sight checked just to make sure! haha

Have to tell someone!

Soooooo I can't hold it in any longer I just need somewhere to be able to post about and talk about our exciting news!!!! Baby #4 is on his/her way!!! I'm due September 15th! We can't wait!

I'm 14 weeks prego today and baby is the size of a lemon!

  • He's probably sucking his thumb and wiggling his toes in there!
  • His kidneys are making urine, and his liver and spleen are doing their jobs, too.
  • And he's growing lanugo, a thin, peach-fuzz-like hair, all over his body -- it will help him keep warm!
I'm 99.9% sure that it's another boy and I so hope I'm right! I love my boys and it'd be great to have an even number of them. I want atleast 4 boys in a row! then they each have a buddy no one is ganging up on anyone else :) Plus I've got this boy thing down. I'll just stick to what I know best  and that's boys!! I figure I can end with a girl and she can be our spoiled princess :)

I haven't announced on Facebook and I don't plan on announcing until I'm 20 weeks and we know the gender of our baby. Then I'll think about doing a big FB official announcement. But for now most of my friends and family know and if you read my blog then you deserve to know as well :) I just don't want it all over Facebook and getting back to our ward. I'm not ready to hear all the "You're pregnant again already?!" comments or "It better be a girl this time." Let me just tell you how much the last comment ticks me off!!! Probably just my pregnant hormones but seriously who cares if it's another boy! I want another boy! If we get a girl that will be just as exciting but don't tell me it BETTER be a girl this time. UGH! so anyways if you're reading this no comments on Facebook be excited with me on here!

Here's the ultrasound picture from my first appointment at 8 weeks :)

at our 12 week appt we got to hear the heart beat very quickly they almost couldn't find it cuz baby was just snuggled in there but we very briefly heard it. My next appointment is in 2 weeks at 16weeks! And then I get to set up our appointment for the 20 week ultrasound where we'll find out the gender of baby #4!!! Can't wait! So far this pregnancy has been flying by! I've been kept busy with helping with Relief Society activities, being in Young Women's, and just doing the mom thing and trying to keep up on top of housework and kids! haha This pregnancy has been a breeze so far hardly any morning sickness at all no other symptoms just the regular can't decide what to eat cuz nothing sounds or smells good. Cravings so far it's been sour candies like sour patch kids and sometimes mexican food. I have a little bump I'll try getting a picture posted later. Still easily hidden with sweatshirts and looser fitting shirts. still just kinda looks like pudge and not really a bump haha.

So anyways there's my news! baby #4 is on the way!

In other news Tuesday is Kindergarten screening at the elementary school for Landon! He can go to school this fall! Crazy how he's already old enough for school! So we go in at 8:15 the screening is an hour and a half and at the end of the screening they'll let us know how he did and how ready he is for school! I'm nervous for him but I think he'll be just fine I don't know what exactly they look for at the screening but I guess I'll find out tomorrow! wish him luck! we've been practicing our counting and letters and writing his name! I'll post an update about that tomorrow!

better go clean my house! It always get's destroyed over the weekend. Lots to do!

Fun with cousins!

We had extra fun this weekend! Lee's oldest brother Craig and his family came down
for the weekend and like always we had fun. At one point my SIL realized that all of
our kids were ages 5,4,3,2,1 and 0 (9months)! We had to take some kind of picture
for that occurrence! So I printed off and color their ages for them so they'd
think it'd be more fun to cooperate and we took these pictures in like 5mins!
I was pretty impressed they all did so well!

From Left to right Maddie Landon Jacob Zeke Drake and Carson
Zeke will be 3 in two weeks so it was pretty perfect timing for them to come up and us to capture these pictures! so much fun :)
